A couple of days ago I posted a news item about the loss of some 1800 titles from Netflix’s streaming service. However as was noted at the time, there is a certain ebb and flow to the service and as a helpful reminder of this, the folks over at Daily Grinhouse have posted a very interesting list of 100 or so “psychotronic” titles the have been either added or returned to the streaming service within the past month. What makes the list even more interesting is that the titles have been broken down into interesting categories such as “Misguided English Language Films from Foreign Directors” and “Sequels to Movies You Weren’t Aware of in the First Place“.
There are actually quite a few titles that I was surprised to find on the list, and as always when reading something like this, I came away with more than a few new titles on my own ever-expanding and evolving queue. So, I highly recommend that you go and check out the list. Who knows, you might wind up surprised yourself.
