Fair warning: the trailer below is for a movie that isn’t supposed to be released until December. I’m noting this up front, because if you’re anything like me, it’s going to leave you wanting to see more, which is, of course, just what a trailer is supposed to do. Inside Llewyn Davis, the latest film from the Coen Brothers, is actually premiering at the Cannes Film Festivsl, which, I presume, is the reason for the early release of this trailer, and it looks set to be one of the bigger, or at least most talked about, films at the festival. Starring Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, and Oscar Isaac, and written and directed by the Coens, the official description of the film simply states “A singer-songwriter navigates New York’s folk music scene during the 1960s”, but it looks to be full of the wondrous sense of humor that we know the brothers can bring to their films.
Anyway, that’s enough words. Take a look at the trailer below, then hit the comments to let me know what you think, not only about this movie, but about other movies that you are looking forward to as we approach the second half of the year.
