31 Days of Halloween – 008: Do You Believe in “Cursed Movies”?

October marches on, and so does our countdown to All Hallows Eve. This year, rather than trying to do a full 31 film reviews or something truly time-consuming like that, most of what I’m going to be posting are favorite trailers, short films, some full-length movies, and other items just to kind of help get everyone in the spirit of what really is one of my favorite holidays.

Personally, I don’t buy into the whole “cursed movie” idea. Let’s be honest, there are so many people involved in making a movie today that coincidences are bound to occur, and, of course, if you are actually looking for links, you are going to find them. However, there are those who do believe, so this video is for you.

What do you think? Do you think it’s possible for a movie or its production to be “cursed? Let me know either in the comments below, or over on the Durnmoose Movies Facebook page which can be found here.

    Absolutely.
People don’t know what they’re playing with. It’s not a toy.
Don’t open that door if you don’t know how to close it.

Yeah I kind of do. I think that some troubled productions just go beyond a piling up of mere coincidence and are just kind of destined not to happen.

I do. There’s a lot of stuff you can find about such films. This is one you probably haven’t heard of, the Viy http://www.thisishorror.co.uk/see-horror/film-reviews/viy-1967/ it was a cursed one.
