Easter Egg

A fresh new trailer for the upcoming Star Trek Into Darkness has just hit the interwebs, and it looks great:

Okay, so, did you see it that time?

Oh, still no luck? Well, I can’t say that’s too surprising since it requires you to ignore Alice Eve (who plays Carol Marcus in the flick) in her underwear to see it.

Doesn’t look like there’s much place for her to be smuggling a movie poster, does it? However, if you look just to her right, below where it says “Low Clearance”, you’ll find a bit.ly url. Specifically this: http://bit.ly/WyJV4F . So what do you find if you follow it?

So, there you go. The seemingly most gratuitous shot in the trailer is actually the one with the most info. This is, as I’m sure some will note, actually a variant of a quite-old psychological test, but in the end, it’s really just a fun little bit of marketing for what’s looking more and more like it’s going to be a great follow-up to J.J. Abrams’ first Star Trek movie.

So who else is looking forward to this one as much as I am?
